It's such a relief to realize that what I thought was the Lord's prompting and what I was led to believe (at my former church) was the Lord's prompting are not one and the same. I'm beginning, slowly, to sense God's leading again. It has taken me years to find my way back to Him, but now that I am on this path, I'm liberated. God is the author and finisher of my faith, not mere mortals.
A friend in GA led me to your blog. Thank you for sharing as you do on this site, in a non-judgmental, matter-of-fact, open and honest format. Thank you. It is definitely helping me affirm in my heart what really matters.
To anonymous 1:14, Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad it's helping you. These are the things that have helped me on my road to rediscovering my relationship with God. Isn't it great to finally realize what really matters in life!

"Spread love everywhere you go: First of all in your own home. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness; kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting." - Mother Teresa "I shall pass through this world but once. Any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." - Henry Drummond "There is nothing the Father desires for you more than that you fall squarely in the lap of His love and never move from that place for the rest of your life." - Jake Colsen "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these." - George Washington Carver
